3. Eligibility and Account Registration

- Account registration for students under 18 must be completed by a parent or guardian
- Parents/guardians remain responsible for all account activities

5. Booking and Sessions
5.1 Booking Sessions
- Sessions are booked through our platform or by contacting us
- Booking confirmation will be sent via email
- Sessions are subject to tutor availability
5.2 Session Requirements
- Stable internet connection
- Device with camera and microphone (computer or tablet recommended)
- Quiet environment suitable for learning
- Required materials as specified by the tutor
5.3 Student Conduct During Sessions
Students must:
- Be punctual and prepared for sessions
- Treat tutors with respect
- Actively participate in learning activities
- Complete any assigned work between sessions
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
6.1 Cancellation Policy
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling at no charge
- Less than 24 hours: 50% of session fee charged
- No-show: Full session fee charged
6.2 Tutor Cancellations
If a tutor needs to cancel, we will:
- Notify you as soon as possible
- Offer a replacement session at a mutually convenient time
- Provide a substitute tutor if available and acceptable to you
- Offer a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
7. Pricing and Payment
7.1 Fees
- The diagnostic quiz is free
- Tutoring session rates are displayed on our pricing page
- Prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable
- We reserve the right to change prices with reasonable notice
7.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is required before sessions commence
- We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout
- Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider
- Package payments may be available with terms specified at purchase
7.3 Refunds
Refunds are available in accordance with our cancellation policy and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For packages:
- Unused sessions may be refunded within 14 days of purchase
- After 14 days, refunds for unused sessions are at our discretion
- Used sessions are non-refundable

- Software and underlying code

- Share your account credentials with others

10. Safeguarding
We take the safety of students seriously:
- All tutors undergo Enhanced DBS checks
- Tutors receive safeguarding training
- We have safeguarding policies in place
- Sessions may be monitored for quality and safety

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We provide services "as is" without warranties except as required by law
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for services in the preceding 12 months
- These limitations do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
12. Termination
